Open Office

OpenOffice is a free office productivity suite. It includes the key desktop applications, such as a word processor, spreadsheet, presentation manager, and drawing program, with a user interface and feature set similar to other office suites. Sophisticated and flexible, OpenOffice also works transparently with a variety of file formats, including those of Microsoft Office.

openoffice To obtain a copy, go to OpenOffice.org and click on the Get OpenOffice button. Click on the Download OpenOffice link on the next page and select the Windows version for download.

Once it's downloaded, install it and you will have an office suite of software, which can be used in place of Microsoft Office.
